This new pilot program is specifically curated for Muslim youth ages 12-18. The intention behind this effort is to create safe spaces where they can learn and explore the Quran for & amongst themselves.
This is not a class nor a lecture. This is a discussion based space where learning can happen through contemplation & reflection inshaAllah.
Young adult facilitators will help guide attendees in discussions of selected Prophetic stories & lessons in the Quran. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with the Quran, explore their thoughts, and learn from the knowledge & experiences of their peers.
The goal for this space is to help foster good character development, basic knowledge of Prophetic stories, and stronger Muslim identity. As a result of participation, the hope is that attendees will better connect Islam to their lived reality, form stronger bonds with other Muslim youth, and increase their love for being Muslim.
